Donor tips
Optional
Donors can add a small tip on top of their gift. Tips are shared between your organization and DonorSecure, and you can turn them off.
How tips work
- You choose the suggestion. Set the suggested tip from 0 to 20% of the gift, and whether it starts checked.
- Donors choose to add it. The form shows the tip and the total clearly before they pay.
- Your gift is untouched. The full donation goes to your organization. Tips are added on top.
- Off is fine. Set the tip to 0% and donors won't see one.
Common questions
Who holds the money?
You do. Every gift is charged on your own payment account and paid out to your bank on your schedule.
Is there a contract?
No. Use DonorSecure as long as it's useful. Your payment account and giving history stay yours if you leave.
Are there limits?
No limits on gifts, donors, campaigns, team members or monthly donors.
What about monthly gifts?
Same pricing. Each monthly charge is processed on your own account.
